The LW Series is a self-energy SF6 Circuit Breaker designed with precision to serve as a three-pole/single-pole AC 50Hz/60Hz outdoor high voltage power transmission equipment. This masterpiece excels in dividing the rated current and fault current with finesse and seamlessly transitions lines in the transmission and distribution system. Purposefully crafted for superior protection, control, and operation, it achieves opening, closing, and fast automatic reclosing with remarkable efficiency.

Operation Mechanism Upon closure of the circuit breaker, both the close and open springs are energized. The internal and external crutch arms counteract the moment from the contra-clockwise force. Activation of the opening winding unlocks the mechanism, allowing the open spring to actuate the internal crutch arm, which in turn opens the circuit breaker. This moment is impeccably secured by the mechanism, maintaining the breaker in an open state.
When the spring mechanism is in its opening state, the close spring accrues energy. The ratchet wheel axis withstands the moment from the opening spring operating contra-clockwise, all of which is securely locked by the mechanism. Activation of the opening winding disengages the cam and ratchet wheel binding. The cam, driven by the close spring in a contra-clockwise motion, compresses the open spring, facilitating the breaker opening. As the breaker completes its closing action, the close spring is released, aligning the pawl axis with the motor via gear, kick-starting the motor and recharging the open spring.
